Asian American Arts Camp 2026

Join us for a week of creativity, community, and self-expression at the KCSC (Korean Community Service Center) Summer Institute: Asian American Arts Camp, held at Camp Indianola in beautiful Indianola, Washington! The camp will run from June 29th, 2026 through July 3rd, 2026 (06/29-07/03).

This immersive, arts-based camp is led by passionate community leaders and offers students the opportunity to explore and express Asian American identity through creative practices such as photography, poetry writing, zine-making, video-making, and songwriting. Alongside these artistic experiences, campers will also enjoy outdoor activities throughout the week, including hiking, swimming, kayaking, beach time, and use of sports areas, creating a balanced and enriching environment. All meals are provided!

The camp is open to students entering 6th grade through 12th grade (grade for the 2026-2027 school year). The cost is $250, with full payment required upon registration (non-refundable). KCSC is funded by King County’s “Best Starts for Kids” grant, which allows us to provide low-cost programming for our community. Transitional Life Pathways for Asian American Young Adults is a five-day immersive program that KCSC is offering for the first time for the Graduating High School Class of 2026 that supports students in navigating the transition into adulthood through a focus on mental health, identity, and practical life skills. The program begins and ends with guided pre- and post-reflection days which take place at the Korean Community Service Center’s office. The three days in between take place at Camp Indianola where students will engage in outdoor activities alongside hands-on learning in cooking, collaboration, and everyday life skills. Whether you are attending a two or four year institution of higher learning, joining the workforce, taking a gap year, or taking a new path, you are invited to register for this program.

Cost: $75 (scholarships available!)
